  1. Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
  2. Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
  3. Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for public health and safety, and cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
  4. Use research-based knowledge and research methods, including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of information to provide valid conclusions.
  5. Manage Construction Projects for Planning, Analyzing, Costing, Scheduling, Predicting, and complete within the stipulated period and fund.

    PLACEMENTS:
    1. As part of our commitment to cultivating essential skills, we have enhanced the two-week, assessed work placement scheme at Level Five. This placement is integrated into the PRAXIS (Management Practice and Law) module and occurs towards the end of the academic year.
    2. In recent years, our placement program has seen participation from various practices, offering diversity in scale, philosophy, sectors, and locations, including national and internationally-renowned firms.
    3. Many students have successfully secured paid summer work in practices as a result of their participation in the placement program.
